Obrigado, Portugal, obrigado

(“thank you” in Portugese)

It’s been an absolute blast these past few days. The conference was a success: many research talks were enjoyed, my poster presentation went well, I networked quite a good bit, and I really enjoyed my free time!

Faro is such a runner- and cyclist- friendly town. Bikes paths and boardwalks that stretch as far as you’d like to go. Shade from palm trees and friendly waves from other runners enjoying their morning workouts. It’s pretty neat.

I’ve been taking photos with my nicer camera, but since I’m on the road, I still wanted to share some iPhone photos with you guys before I take off for Dublin, Ireland the rest of this week/weekend.

Thank you, Portugal, for a wonderful trip.

And Dublin? I’m comin’ for ya! Can’t wait to experience a real Irish coffee and freshly poured Guinness (among other very exciting things).
