A lot of my family and friends have been asking for info on how to track me during the marathon. You guys make me feel like a flippin’ rock star.
I can’t even explain how much I appreciate your support. I’ll be thinking about every one of you guys during the race. Every time I cross a timing mat, I’ll think of my chip registering and you checking in on my progress. It’ll keep me motivated to run smart, fast, and focused.
I think it’s really cool that live coverage is available online. There are multiple start times because of all the different waves and corrals, so you can see all the elite/pro athletes start and finish way before us. The elite women start at 9:32AM (EST) and the elite men start at 10:00AM (EST).

I am in Wave 2 Corral 6, so I will start around 10:20AM (EST). Mom and Dad, don’t worry, I’ll call you as soon as I’m done and find Weez at the finish :)
I have a question for folks who have run Boston before: how did you get to the Boston Commons for bus pick up? I’m a pinch stressed about it because I’ve heard the T doesn’t start running early enough (5:30-5:45AMish) on Marathon Monday. My accommodations are 3+ miles away. Can a cab get me there without problems? Thanks for your advice in advance!
