I’m a grad student at a pretty big university. And since it’s such a large school, most undergraduate pre-req classes have a good number of students in them (100-400/class).
On Halloween this year, a group of ~20 friends and I flashmob’ed an unsuspecting, 8AM, 150-person calculus class. It was totally hilarious and such a blast to put together. My friend and I choreographed the dance and taught it to everyone during two practices. For only having practiced as a group twice, I think we totally rocked it.
We knew the teacher (he’s one of our friends)(which is why we flash mobbed this class in particular), and he told us afterwards that all his students loved it. And he couldn’t stop laughing. He said it made their day. I even heard people were talking about our flashmob later on that day too. Score.
We had another friend sit in on the class, with a camera ready and waiting to catch the whole thing on video. And today, my friends, I present to you said video.
So glad someone caught this on tape. Enjoy! (PS. I’m the one in the pink tanktop in the front, and Weez is the one in a red shirt who grabs Halloween candy on the way out)
Woopwoop Gangnam Style!
