If you take a puppy for a hike…

on

… she’ll love to frolick around.
And if she’s frolicking around, she’ll be impossible to pose for a family photo.
And if she can’t stay put for a family photo, at least you can get a candid shot.
And after you go for a long hike, your puppy will love the car ride home.
And if you play fetch after you get home, then you’ll have a very tired pup.
And if you have a very tired pup? She’ll sleep through the night.

And a puppy that sleeps through the night? Means a very happy puppy owner :)

She really is the cutest! I’m jealous that you have beautiful mountains and hiking trails so close to you!

We really are so dang lucky to live in such a great place. Hundreds of miles of trails are walkable/runable from our front door. Literally! Love it here!

Haha, a dog after your own hiking, running heart! ;)

She’s getting so big!!! Bella had some good hiking today with a swim in the river….does that constitute a canine brick?

Anyhoo, by 6:30 pm, she put herself to bed :)

Awww Bella! That most certainly counts as a canine brick :)

If you give a puppy some puppy treats, she actually listens to you while deer run by.
