Before our friends came over on Sunday for the big game, we made sure to tucker Cabo out as much as possible. Which included her first 1.5 mile run (she was great! loose-leash running and everything!), a 1.5 hour hike, and an hour at the dog park. Needless to say, we had the best, most chill puppy ever, and man, she slept like a log last night. Hallelujah!
I made sure to get my 9 miler done in the morning, because I knew I was going to be busy in the afternoon. That, and I knew I was going to consume 30 pounds of Weez’s delicious chili, so a run was a must.
I’m sorry but I totally loved the half time show. Madonna still has it goin’ ON. I mean, dang, that woman is 53 years old and she looks GOOD. Here’s to hoping?
I can’t believe we fit 4 dogs and 11 humans in our cozy little 1 bedroom apartment. We had to rearrange the furniture, but by golly we did it.
It didn’t take long for the 4 dogs to calm down and wear each other out. I was in heaven, of course, because the more dogs I can cuddle and oogle over and take pictures of, the better. They were so tired by the end of the night.
You should have seen Cabo last night after everyone went home. Weez had to literally pick her up and carry her to the bedroom because she was so wiped out. Adorbs.
But now it’s Monday and the 5K is a mere 5 days away! Time to hydrate up, sleep well, stalk the weather conditions, and channel PMA (positive mental attitude).
How was your run/workout this weekend?
