Thanksgiving 2011

I’m so thankful that my brother lives a quick 2.5 hour drive north of us. We spent Thanksgiving with him, his roommates, his girlfriend, and her family. The day was chalked full of delicious food, football (sorry about the tough loss, Weez), and great conversation.
After the Packers/Lions game, the cooking began and the kitchen was full of hustle and bustle as everyone helped out…
Cleaning the leftover bits out of the pan counts as helping, right? Cabo was on floor-cleaning duty.
After we stuffed ourselves with incredible food, the dogs had fun outside. Cabo always has a fun time up in WY because she gets to play with Dermot in their big fenced backyard.

We spent the rest of the evening enjoying wine, conversation, and lots of laughs. Oh yeah, and tons of pie. Mmm Thanksgiving and family, you are wonderful. Thanks for having us, Will and Cena!

How was your Thanksgiving? What’s your favorite must-have dish?

Sounds like a wonderful time! And what’s better than fun puppy play. Can’t beat it :)

My niece has made a delicious side for the past few Thanksgivings: an unbelievable concoction of spaghetti squash, zucchini, pine nuts, romano cheese, sage, and I”m not sure what else (still trying to nail down the recipe!!). For a non-veggie lover like me (gasp), this is a godsend!

These pictures are TOO cute! Our fave dish is probably corn casserole!
