Last week, I was in a writing funk. I didn’t blog a lot, and it wasn’t ’cause I didn’t want to. I logged onto twitter and saw this tweet from my blogger buddy, Jessica, over at Heart on Homestead….
I tweeted her back saying that I was feeling the same way, and that maybe we could exchange little “blog interviews” as a fun way to create new material for our blogs. Jessica is awesome and dug the idea, so we exchanged questions for each other.
To check out my answers to her questions, run on over to her great blog Heart on Homestead!
Jessica is a hilarious, skillful photographer, doggie-lover (she and her hubs have a Westie! Just like my family dog), mama-to-be! If you haven’t met Jessica yet… run on over to her blog and say hello!
Below are the questions I asked her, and her answers/pictures. Enjoy!
1. What first inspired you to start blogging?
Weddingbee! I was planning my wedding in early 2010 and was immediately drawn into the blogging world. After my wedding last May, I figured, why not? Might as well join the crowd. :)
2. If I handed you $100 dollars, what would you do with it right this moment?
I should probably say buy something for the house or for the baby but I would probably say buy something for the house or for the baby but I would probably be irresponsible and buy another outfit. Dressing this pregnant belly is not easy.
3. Food: sweet or savory?
Six months ago I would say savory, but these days, I can pretty much go for chocolate anytime!
5. Hubs: How did he propose?
We were vacationing in the Outer Banks with his family in 2009 and he asked me to go for a walk at sunset with him. We headed down to the water and he waded in to his knees and told me he had to ask me a question. He got down on one knee, right there in the surf, and asked me to marry him. I responded with “Are you kidding me?!” to which he replied, “Do I look like I’m kidding?” — We laughed, hugged, cried and here we are!
