We had the time of our lives at my cousin’s wedding in Illinois over the weekend. The wedding was straight out of a fairy tale. The decorations, the food, the venue. My cousin and his beautiful bride were just beaming all weekend.

It was fantastic introducing Weez to my entire family (they LOVE him… obvi :)) and everyone is so excited for our big day. We got to ask lots of questions for words of advice from our newlywed cousins and soak up as much inspiration as possible. It was nice not having to say goodbye for-real to everyone, because we know we’ll see them all in two short months!

But right now I am a total zombie, having driven straight through the night. We were able to get some decent running mileage in this weekend (16 miles broken up over two days), which included a run where we were attacked by a dog and had to chase down two strays. So between no sleep, running, and the action packed wedding weekend, I’m in zombieland.

I can’t wait to share pictures and stories from our incredible weekend! I hope you had a great weekend too!

isn’t it crazy to go to a wedding while you are also planning your own? it’s a whole new dimension, right? crazy.

Driving like that is harsh! But it sounds worth it. So great that you got to get together with all your family like that.
