San Francisco: The full recap :)

I can’t tell you how much I loved visiting SF. I could soooo see Weez and myself living there when we finish grad school. It was gorgeous, I love the mountains, the water, the food, the personality. Such a cool city.

While I was there visiting, my friends made sure to show me all the must-see stuff. We met up with one of my good friends, Anna, at the Painted Ladies – a group of historic, picturesque houses.
Then we met up with our friends Michael and Jane, grabbed some lunch downtown near Union Square, and made our way (via the Cable Cars!) to Lombard Street – famous for its hairpin tight turns.

As the sun set, we found our way to a great little Irish pub for drinks and dinner. The rest of the night was spent laughing, catching up, talking about the future, and just enjoying the night life. I ran XC and track in college with these friends, so we go way back. Lots of great memories :) Love love love them.

On Sunday, Niki and I went to the Presidio and wandered the very hilly streets of the city. Niki will be one of my bridesmaids (yaayy!), so we chatted lots about fun wedding planning stuff.
Niki showed me the Lyon Street Steps (holy moly!) and all the gorgeous homes near by.

Then we met up with Pat to walk around the Port of SF and all the Piers.
And just like that, the weekend was over. Why is it the best times always fly by the fastest?! Niki rode with me on the train all the way to the airport and it was bittersweet saying goodbye. I’m sad that we live so far apart but the bachelorette party won’t be too far away (summer!) and next thing you know, Weez and I will be getting married (September!).

I love you guys, thanks for the amazing weekend! I can’t wait to come back out and visit again! :) Come visit me in CO!

Awesome. I love San Fran, what a great city to visit. I have never ran across the Golden Gate bridge, but I would LOVE to experience that one day.

I am so glad that your ITB issues seem like a thing of the past and I look forward to your Boston marathon adventure coming up soon.

One more thing…..Congrats on your engagement. So happy for you. :)
