List six: Things I love on cold winter days

on

1. Hot coffee. Hot chocolate with whipped cream is a close second.
2. My space warmer, strategically placed directly under my desk, pointed at my toes.
3. Warm tomato soup with Goldfish crackers.
4. Sipping a glass of red wine, curled up in a blanket, while watching the best show ever, Scrubs.
5. When the bus doesn’t arrive 87 minutes late.
6. My new fav hat.
7. How gorgeous the Flatirons look when they’re coated in snow.  Even when it’s -18.
8. Scarves. Every scarf I own. I love them all. I don’t leave my apartment without one.
9.  Celestial Seasonings tea. My current fav, Bengal Spice. I go through a box every week or so. I heart their teas.
10. The dry sauna I just discovered in the rec center girls locker room. After a hard swim practice.
11.  Drawing things in the snow. Or on frosted windows.
12. How – even though I’m 24 years old – I still think it’s fun to try and blow smoke rings with my breathe into the cold air.
13. Laughing really hard at myself when I wipe out getting on/off the bus. This happens on a weekly basis.

six down, six to go

I often wonder how people can just walk past unmolested spaces of snow. Every time I see one, I have to jump in it and walk around/make cool shapes in it… Hahaha…
