It’s so weird to say that. I haven’t run that far since May. And there’s a lot going through my mind. Will my knee hurt? Will I be able to finish? Is that long enough to bring chocolate Gu? (mmm if there’s ever an excuse to bring chocolate Gu, I’m there)
I’m very much looking forward to this weekend’s long run. Oh, the long run, how I’ve missed thee. They’re honestly my favorite part about marathon training. Surely I’m not the only one that feels this way?
Aside from the long run, I’ve got a whole ton of unpacking to do (shhh, I’ve only been back 3 days, that’s not SO awful is it?). Maybe I’ll try and squeeze in a half day of skiing on Sunday, too :) I hope you have fabulous, active weekends as well!

i LOVE LOVE LOVE the long run. like seriously. my favorite thing about my current training plan is that i’ll end up doing four twenty mile runs. those are my FAVE.
