Are you a runner? What are you doing on the 26th? Can you walk or run 6.1 miles?
Then join us, a world-wide satellite run to celebrate Sam (the man behind the 61 marathons, founder of Operation Jack) and his MAJOR accomplishment of successfully finishing Operation Jack (a year-long, 61 marathon effort to raise money and awareness for Train 4 Autism). You guys have heard me talk about Sam and Operation Jack before…. and this is it! The big kahoona! The 26th of December will be his last race and he wants everyone to join in :)
For those of us who can’t make it to the site of the actual O.J. Marathon in Los Angeles, Sam created a “Satellite 6.1 Mile Run” option. All you have to do is run or walk 6.1 miles on December 26th to be part of the event. Registration is only $25 and all participants will receive a race medal and t-shirt.
Operation Jack is such a good cause and it would be so neat if every state in the US was represented (see list here)! So please, consider registering to support Sam and the amazing cause that is Operation Jack.
Thanks so much and Happy, Happy Holidays!
Yay for Op Jack Satellite Race!!! If we keep spreading the word I am positive we’ll get all 50!!! Have a great “race” on Sunday girl! :)
Thanks Erin!
Ditto Morgan!! YAY for OJ!!! It will be cool to be out there running, knowing someone in every state (cause we will get all 50) is out there running for the same reason!! Team Maine will be finnished before the OJ Marathon starts!:-)
I will get out and run for operation jack! :)
Erin, I’ll ride my bike with you for the distance and plot a course tomorrow.
