Last night, I went to my third creative digital photography class. Don, like usual, rocked our minds with sweet camera knowledge. I learned that taking photos of photogenic strangers (an old man smoking a pipe, a skateboarder doing tricks, etc.) is completely legal as long as you don’t sell the photos for profit, and was urged to be brave and try it.
Afterwards, I met up with some friends for drinks at a microbrew across from my apartment. I had a blast and now I’m thoroughly looking forward to our Halloween party. Costume ideas are in the works.
This morning, I woke up early and hit the pool. Something beautiful – something that’s never happened to me before – happened. For the first time ever, after a nice warm up, I felt like I was on cruise control. Ya know that feeling when you’re running and you feel like you could just run for miles at that pace? I never had that feeling with swimming until this morning!
Friday (10/1): 100 yrd WU, 1400 nonstop
I wanted to keep going, I honestly did, but the masters swim class comes in at 7am so I had to hop out. But wow, I feel great this morning, and I’m so glad I got out of bed!
Happy October, everyone!
