List two: Songs I could listen to on repeat

When I’m not looking for music to pump me up during a long run or keep me entertained at work, I have a small list of songs that I could just listen to forever. These favorites are the ones with lyrics that mean something to me. Lyrics that take me back to a certain time in my life. Lyrics that remind me of people I love. Lyrics that resonate.

Let It Be, by The Beatles

Change, by Tracy Chapman

Slide, by Goo Goo Dolls

Wagon Wheel, by Old Crow Medicine Show

Unchained Melody, by Rightous Brothers

Leader of the Band, by Dan Fogelberg

Lightning Crashes, by Live

Long December, by Counting Crows

With or Without You, by U2

Desperately, by Michelle Branch

(2 lists down, 10 to go)

Sarah is wrong about the bathing suit.

Silly Sam, these songs aren’t ones I listen to while running, they’re songs I love outside of running music (did you not read the caption?! :P) And in my defensive, unchained melody is beautiful and reminds me of my big sis, hehe.
