My Canon Rebel XSi has been so patient with me. It sat for weeks, untouched (but never forgotten) on my bookshelf, gazing longingly out my apartment window towards the mountains. But not last weekend. A friend recommended a trail near my house for some tall grass shots (I love tall grass) and sweet Flatiron views, so I snuck away from studying, grabbed my Canon, and told Weez where to meet me.
The sun was just about to set, the sky was a deep blue, and the moon was on the rise.
The tall grass swayed in the wind but paused long enough to have its picture taken.
A familiar herd of cows grazed as we meandered down the trail.
Dusk can be such a pretty time of day.
