Memory Lane

on

When Brian was in Ohio, I took him down to (the best place on earth) my Alma Mater. For him, he was visiting a college campus on a gray skied day; for me, I was trippin’ down memory lane. I got teary eyed when we first pulled up to the student union – the place I ate and checked my mail everyday. I couldn’t stop telling stories when we passed each of my dorms. I got a shot of adrenaline when we walked by the track – where countless miles were run during hard cross country and track workouts. Every sidewalk, every tree, every building has a story. I miss that place. I became the person I am today in those four years at Wooster. It honestly is one of the Colleges That Change Lives.

After I uploaded the pictures I took while we were there early this week, it was kind of fun to compare them to pictures I took while at Wooster. This is Kauke, the main academic building on campus, in the spring of 2008.

Wintery day in 2009

Tradition is that if the students can fill the arch all the way to the top with snow, classes will be canceled the next day. During my time at Woo, it only snowed enough to fill the arch twice. But those nights were epic.

My senior year, I lived in a house with 9 of my best friends where we trained a service dog, Bebe. Spring 2008:

Amazing how a blue sky day can affect a picture, huh?
