Back on the workout train

The past 7 weeks of my life have been quite a bit more busy than usual. And I loved every second of it. In fact, if I could just go back in time and relive it all? That’d be awesome. I still can’t believe I/we…

- traveled to Asia
- traveled to Madison, WI
- traveled to Vegas
- traveled to Illinois
- road tripped across the USA
- went on 3 different backpacking trips

Weez gave me strick rules not to make any plans this weekend, for the sake of getting our lives back in order. Laundry. Grocery shopping. Cooking a real meal. Sleeping in. Not spending 48 hrs in a vehicle. Maybe even watching a little tv (gasp!)(what the heck is on tv these days anyways?).

With the Equinox half coming up on Sept 23, Weez and I have been trying to get as many quality runs in each week as possible. It’s been hit or miss at times, but I finally feel like I’m back on the workout train.

- Tuesday: 60 mins easy
- Wednesday: 60 min tempo
- Thursday: 12x400m’s on the track
- Friday: 40 mins easy

This Saturday we have a 1:45 min long run on deck, and I’m flirting with the idea of doing a second long run on Sunday, just to get in a little extra mileage. Lord knows I need it with all the going-out-to-eat’ing I’ve been doing. Sheesh.
